Inspections AND PERMITS

All residents and private companies must obtain approval from the City of Newark Department of Water and Sewer Utilities prior to performing any work that directly or indirectly affects the public water and/or sewer systems. The Department’s Permit and Inspections Office is the starting point for all of Water and Sewer permit services. The Permit and Inspections Office can provide you with mapping of the existing water and sewer infrastructure and can answer many of your questions.
