Newark Water and Sewer has contracts in place for construction, engineering, and goods and services. Our Capital Improvement Program addresses infrastructure repairs, modernization of facilities and processes for treating and transporting biosolids, and limiting sewer overflows. Our contracts range from several thousand to several million dollars for projects related to maintenance, repair and upgrades to the plant, as well as for projects involving sewage, stormwater, water storage and water distribution.
