Artist Matthew Purefoy came out on Saturday,  April 28th to paint a catch basin at 131 Bleeker St which is adopted by NJIT Senate.

He wanted to do something for the city.

On Sunday,  April 29th three more artists came out to paint. Two of those were in the corner of Bleeker and MLK and one of them in the corner of MLK and Sussex. 

All four of the artist showed great appreciation for this opportunity and had a great time painting. People walking by stopped to compliment, ask what the painting was for, to get the artist number, or just to take picture of the art.

Rutgers even tweeted out one of the art and praising our project. It was a successful event over all.
