Bascule Gate at the Charlotteburg Intake Dam in West Milford which is currently inoperable, is to be rehabilitated and improved. This project will allow additional 500 million gallons of storage in the reservoir, and is required to maintain the Water Allocation Permit safe yield provision. Design of Bascule Gate is ongoing. Construction is expected to commence in 2018.
